Texas Mystery Week

Texas Mystery Week wrapped up last Friday, the same day I learned that there was a Texas Mystery Week. I had already heard from Michael Bracken that he would be in town for a panel, but didn't realize there was some larger thing going on.

Anyway, the panel was held at Borders in northeast Dallas. I had previously met Michael and Tricia Allen, but the others were new to me. Not much of an audience, unfortunately, but it made for more of a friendly chat than a crowd scene. As a bonus, I made off with a couple of books, including Tricia's A Well Respected Dead Man, which I've seen before and looks good (nice cover, too).

After the panel Michael, Tricia and I retired to a local eatery, where I watched them eat dinner. As usual I blabbered on and on, but they didn't seem to mind. A wonderful time was had by all. And hey, maybe I'll get to participate some day.
