Disaster Recovery: Experience Not Required
Well, the dog-and-pony last Thursday (see below) was a complete disaster. Or would have been; we put it off until tomorrow. I cleaned out the Unicenter Repository (object database) and rediscovered the network, and now it's working right. No mug for me!
On a happier note, I have a story online at HandHeldCrime right now. You can view it here. HandHeldCrime is probably the most prominent "general interest" mystery magazine on the web. There are a few that specialize in cozies or in hardboiled, but HHC is sort of the Ellery Queen of the net. You'll find just about everything there.
